Welcome to SOUNDHOP.

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before downloading, accessing, or using SOUNDHOP ("the App"), operated by Acron Inc. ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility and Parental Consent

SOUNDHOP is designed for children aged 4–12 and is intended to be used under parental or guardian supervision.

• If the user is under the age of 16 (the highest applicable age of digital consent across our target regions, including the EU), a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on the child's behalf.

• By allowing a child to use SOUNDHOP, the parent or guardian confirms they have read and accepted these Terms.

• SOUNDHOP does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information without parental consent, please contact us at support@getsoundhop.com

 

2. Use of the App

SOUNDHOP is designed for educational purposes only.

Users may use the App solely for personal, non-commercial purposes unless otherwise authorized in writing by Acron Inc.

The following actions are strictly prohibited:

• Copying, modifying, distributing, or reproducing any part of the App or its content

• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the App

• Using the App for any commercial purpose without prior written consent

• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its infrastructure

• Using the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

 

3. Intellectual Property

All content within SOUNDHOP, including but not limited to software, curriculum, images, graphics, audio recordings, sound files, logos, character designs, and UI elements, is owned by or licensed to Acron Inc. and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

No content may be copied, distributed, modified, reproduced, or used in any form without prior written permission from Acron Inc.

Any unauthorized use of our intellectual property may result in legal action.

 

4. Educational Content Disclaimer

SOUNDHOP is designed to support phonemic awareness and early English literacy development.

We do not guarantee specific educational outcomes, academic performance, or language proficiency. Individual results may vary depending on the learner's age, frequency of use, prior experience, and learning environment.

The App is intended as a supplementary educational tool and is not a substitute for professional instruction or assessment.

 

5. Local Data Storage and Progress

Important: If the App is deleted, the device is reset, data is cleared, or the App is reinstalled, all stored progress may be permanently lost.

Because all learning progress is stored locally on the user's device, Acron Inc. cannot recover lost progress resulting from device changes, malfunction, deletion, or user actions.

Parents or guardians may wish to periodically monitor and note their child's learning progress.

6. Third-Party Platforms

SOUNDHOP may be distributed through third-party platforms, including Google Play and the Apple App Store.

Your use of these platforms is subject to their respective Terms of Service and Privacy Policies.

Any in-app purchases are also subject to the billing, subscription, and refund policies of the applicable platform provider.

Acron Inc. is not responsible for the policies, privacy practices, billing services, or content provided by these third-party platforms.

 

7. Service Changes and Availability

We reserve the right to update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of SOUNDHOP at any time. Where reasonably possible, we will provide advance notice of material changes through the App or our website.

Acron Inc. is not liable for any interruption, suspension, or discontinuation of the App or its features.

 

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SOUNDHOP is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from harmful components.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Acron Inc. and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of or inability to use SOUNDHOP, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App.

 

10. Subscriptions and Auto-Renewal

SOUNDHOP offers two subscription tiers. The Prep tier provides access to Prep level content. The Full tier (monthly or annual) provides access to Level 1 and all subsequent levels. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

All subscription billing is processed through the app store from which you downloaded SOUNDHOP, such as Google Play or the Apple App Store. You can manage, modify, or cancel your subscription at any time through your app store account settings. Acron Inc. does not have the ability to modify or cancel subscriptions on your behalf.

Refunds are handled in accordance with the policies of the platform through which the subscription was purchased.

Subscriptions are licensed for individual personal use by a single child. Subscriptions may not be shared across multiple children, resold, transferred to unrelated users, or used for commercial or institutional purposes (such as schools, academies, or other organizations) without a separate license agreement. Acron Inc. reserves the right to suspend or terminate access where evidence of subscription abuse is found.

 

11. Privacy

Your use of SOUNDHOP is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how we protect your privacy and handle information related to your use of the App.

 

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

 

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

 

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict of law principles.

If you are using SOUNDHOP from outside the Republic of Korea, you may also be entitled to remedies under the consumer protection laws of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under your local laws.

본 이용약관("약관")은 Acron Inc.("회사")가 운영하는 SOUNDHOP("앱")을 다운로드, 접속 또는 이용하기 전에 주의 깊게 읽어 주시기 바랍니다.

앱을 다운로드하거나 접속 또는 이용함으로써 이용자는 본 약관에 동의한 것으로 간주됩니다. 동의하지 않으실 경우 앱을 이용하지 마시기 바랍니다.

1. 이용 자격 및 보호자 동의

SOUNDHOP은 4~12세 아동을 대상으로 설계된 교육용 앱으로, 부모 또는 법정 보호자의 지도 아래 사용하도록 권장됩니다.

• 이용자가 만 16세 미만(EU를 포함한 당사 대상 지역 중 가장 엄격한 디지털 동의 연령 기준)인 경우, 부모 또는 법정 보호자가 아동을 대신하여 본 약관을 검토하고 동의해야 합니다.

• 자녀가 SOUNDHOP을 이용하도록 허용함으로써, 부모 또는 보호자는 본 약관을 읽고 동의한 것으로 간주됩니다.

• 회사는 아동의 개인정보를 고의로 수집하지 않습니다. 아동이 보호자의 동의 없이 개인정보를 제공한 것으로 의심되는 경우, support@getsoundhop.com으로 즉시 연락해 주시기 바랍니다.

 

2. 앱 이용

SOUNDHOP은 교육 목적으로만 제공됩니다.

이용자는 Acron Inc.의 서면 허가 없이 개인적, 비상업적 목적으로만 앱을 이용할 수 있습니다.

다음 행위는 엄격히 금지됩니다:

• 앱 또는 그 콘텐츠의 복제, 수정, 배포 또는 재생산

• 앱의 역공학, 디컴파일 또는 역어셈블

• 사전 서면 동의 없이 앱을 상업적 목적으로 이용

• 앱 또는 그 인프라에 대한 무단 접근 시도

• 관련 법령을 위반하는 방식으로 앱을 이용

 

3. 지식재산권

SOUNDHOP 내 모든 콘텐츠(소프트웨어, 커리큘럼, 이미지, 그래픽, 음성 녹음, 사운드 파일, 로고, 캐릭터 디자인, UI 요소 등 포함)는 Acron Inc.가 소유하거나 사용 허가를 받은 것으로, 관련 지식재산권법에 의해 보호됩니다.

Acron Inc.의 사전 서면 허가 없이는 어떠한 콘텐츠도 복제, 배포, 수정, 재생산하거나 어떠한 형태로도 사용할 수 없습니다.

무단 사용 시 법적 조치가 취해질 수 있습니다.

 

4. 교육 콘텐츠 면책 조항

SOUNDHOP은 음소 인식 능력 및 영어 초기 문해력 발달을 지원하기 위해 설계되었습니다.

특정 학습 성과, 학업 성취 또는 언어 능력을 보장하지 않으며, 개인의 연령, 사용 빈도, 사전 경험 및 학습 환경에 따라 결과가 달라질 수 있습니다.

본 앱은 보조적인 교육 도구로 제공되며, 전문적인 교육 또는 평가를 대체하지 않습니다.

 

5. 로컬 데이터 저장 및 학습 진도

학습 진도는 사용자의 기기에 로컬로 저장됩니다.

SOUNDHOP은 현재 클라우드 백업, 계정 등록 또는 기기 간 데이터 동기화 기능을 제공하지 않습니다.

중요: 앱 삭제, 기기 초기화, 데이터 삭제 또는 앱 재설치 시 저장된 학습 진도가 영구적으로 소실될 수 있습니다. 기기 변경, 오작동, 삭제 또는 사용자 행동으로 인한 데이터 손실에 대해 Acron Inc.는 책임을 지지 않습니다.

부모 또는 보호자가 자녀의 학습 진도를 정기적으로 확인하고 기록해 두시길 권장합니다.

 

6. 제3자 플랫폼

SOUNDHOP은 Google Play 및 Apple App Store를 포함한 제3자 플랫폼을 통해 배포될 수 있습니다.

이러한 플랫폼의 이용은 각 플랫폼의 이용약관 및 개인정보처리방침에 따릅니다.

인앱 구매 및 구독과 관련된 결제, 구독 관리 및 환불은 구독을 구매한 해당 플랫폼의 정책에 따라 처리됩니다.

Acron Inc.는 이러한 제3자 플랫폼이 제공하는 정책, 개인정보 처리 방식, 결제 서비스 또는 콘텐츠에 대해 책임을 지지 않습니다.

 

7. 서비스 변경 및 이용 가능성

회사는 언제든지 SOUNDHOP의 일부 또는 전부를 업데이트, 수정, 일시 중단 또는 종료할 권리를 보유합니다. 중요한 변경 사항이 있을 경우, 합리적으로 가능한 범위 내에서 앱 또는 웹사이트를 통해 사전 고지하겠습니다.

앱의 중단, 일시 정지 또는 종료로 인한 손해에 대해 Acron Inc.는 책임을 지지 않습니다.

 

8. 보증 부인

관련 법령이 허용하는 최대 범위 내에서, SOUNDHOP은 명시적 또는 묵시적 보증 없이 "있는 그대로(as is)" 및 "이용 가능한 상태로(as available)" 제공됩니다.

회사는 앱이 오류 없이 작동하거나, 중단 없이 이용 가능하거나, 유해한 요소가 없음을 보장하지 않습니다.

 

9. 책임 제한

관련 법령이 허용하는 최대 범위 내에서, Acron Inc. 및 그 임직원은 SOUNDHOP의 이용 또는 이용 불가로 인해 발생하는 간접적, 부수적, 특별, 결과적 또는 징벌적 손해에 대해 책임을 지지 않습니다.

이용자의 청구에 대한 회사의 총 책임은 이용자가 앱에 대해 실제로 지불한 금액을 초과하지 않습니다.

 

10. 구독 및 자동 갱신

SOUNDHOP은 두 가지 구독 등급을 제공합니다. Prep 등급은 Prep 레벨 콘텐츠에 대한 접근을 제공하며, Full 등급(월간 또는 연간)은 Level 1 및 이후의 모든 레벨에 대한 접근을 제공합니다. 구독은 갱신일 최소 24시간 전에 취소하지 않으면 각 결제 기간이 끝날 때 자동으로 갱신됩니다.

모든 구독 결제는 SOUNDHOP을 다운로드한 플랫폼(예: Google Play 또는 Apple App Store)을 통해 처리됩니다. 이용자는 각 앱 스토어의 계정 설정에서 언제든지 구독을 관리, 변경하거나 취소할 수 있습니다. Acron Inc.는 이용자를 대신하여 구독을 변경하거나 취소할 수 있는 권한을 가지고 있지 않습니다.

환불은 구독을 구매한 플랫폼의 환불 정책에 따라 처리됩니다.

구독은 개인적인 사용을 위한 라이선스로 제공되며, 원칙적으로 한 아이, 한 계정을 기준으로 합니다. 별도의 라이선스 계약 없이 여러 아동이 공유하거나, 재판매하거나, 무관한 이용자에게 양도하거나, 학교·학원 등 기관 또는 상업적 목적으로 사용할 수 없습니다. Acron Inc.는 구독의 부정 사용이 확인되는 경우 접근을 일시적으로 제한하거나 종료할 권리를 보유합니다.

 

11. 개인정보 처리

SOUNDHOP의 이용에는 본 약관과 함께 개인정보처리방침이 적용됩니다.

개인정보 보호 및 앱 이용과 관련된 정보의 처리 방식에 대해서는 개인정보처리방침을 확인해 주시기 바랍니다.

 

12. 약관 변경

회사는 본 약관을 수시로 개정할 수 있습니다. 변경 시 본 페이지 상단의 "최종 업데이트" 날짜가 갱신됩니다. 변경 후에도 앱을 계속 이용하는 경우, 개정된 약관에 동의한 것으로 간주됩니다.

정기적으로 본 약관을 검토하시기 바랍니다.

 

13. 가분성

본 약관의 일부 조항이 관련 법령에 따라 무효 또는 집행 불가능한 것으로 판단되더라도, 나머지 조항은 계속하여 완전한 효력을 유지합니다.

 

14. 준거법 및 분쟁 해결

본 약관은 저촉법 원칙에 관계없이 대한민국 법률에 따라 해석되고 적용됩니다.

대한민국 외 지역에서 SOUNDHOP을 이용하시는 경우, 거주 국가의 소비자보호법에 따른 권리도 함께 적용될 수 있습니다. 본 약관의 어떠한 내용도 거주 국가의 법률에 따라 포기할 수 없는 소비자 권리를 제한하지 않습니다.
