1. What age is SoundHop for?
SoundHop is designed for children who are beginning to learn letter sounds, typically ages 4–12. Children outside this range may also benefit depending on their level of English exposure.

SoundHop은 영어 소리를 처음 배우는 아이들을 위해 설계되었으며, 주로 4~12세를 대상으로 합니다. 영어 노출 수준에 따라 이 연령대 이외의 아이들도 충분히 활용할 수 있습니다.
2. Does my child need to know the alphabet?
No. SoundHop starts with listening, not letters. Children learn to hear and distinguish sounds before they ever see a letter. No reading ability is required.

아니요. SoundHop은 글자가 아닌 듣기부터 시작합니다. 아이들은 글자를 보기 전에 소리를 듣고 구별하는 법을 먼저 배워요. 읽기 능력이 전혀 필요하지 않습니다.
3. Can children use SoundHop on their own?
Yes. SoundHop is intentionally designed so children can understand how to play quickly and independently. No reading is required to navigate the app.

네. SoundHop은 아이가 빠르게 스스로 게임 방법을 이해할 수 있도록 설계되었습니다. 앱을 사용하는 데 읽기 능력이 필요하지 않습니다.
4. How long should my child play?
Most sets take about 10–15 minutes to complete. Short, regular sessions—even 10–15 minutes a day—are more effective than occasional long sessions. SoundHop is designed to fit naturally into a daily routine.
얼마나 오래 해야 하나요?
대부분의 세트는 약 10~15분 정도 소요됩니다. 가끔 오래 하는 것보다 하루 10~15분씩 꾸준히 하는 것이 훨씬 효과적입니다. SoundHop은 일상 속에서 자연스럽게 학습할 수 있도록 설계되었습니다.
5. What happens if my child gets an answer wrong?
The round simply resets and the child tries again. Children keep practicing until they are ready to move on. This ensures nothing is rushed and every sound is truly learned before advancing.

라운드가 리셋되고 다시 시도합니다. SoundHop은 숙달 기반 시스템을 사용합니다 — 일정 정확도를 달성해야만 다음 단계로 넘어갈 수 있어요. 서두르지 않고, 모든 소리를 확실히 익힌 후에 진도가 나가도록 설계되어 있습니다.
6. How much does SoundHop cost?
You can start with the first 2 Prep sets for free to see whether SoundHop is a good fit for your child.
If you choose to continue, you can subscribe to Prep or Full. Current pricing is displayed in your app store before purchase.
얼마인가요?
먼저 Prep 레벨의 첫 2개 세트를 무료로 이용해 보시고, 아이에게 잘 맞는지 확인해 보세요.
계속 이용하기로 결정하시면 Prep 또는 Full을 구독하실 수 있습니다. 현재 가격은 구매 전에 앱 스토어에서 확인하실 수 있습니다.
7. Can I cancel my subscription or request a refund?
You can cancel your subscription at any time through the app store from which you purchased it. Your cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds are handled according to the refund policies of the platform through which the purchase was made.

구독을 취소하거나 환불을 요청할 수 있나요?
구독은 구매한 앱 스토어를 통해 언제든지 취소할 수 있으며, 취소는 현재 결제 기간이 종료되는 시점부터 적용됩니다.
환불은 구매가 이루어진 플랫폼의 환불 정책에 따라 처리됩니다.

8. Can I share my subscription with others?
Subscriptions are licensed for individual personal use by a single child. They may not be shared across multiple children, unrelated users, or used for commercial or institutional purposes (such as schools or academies) without a separate license agreement
구독을 다른 사람과 공유할 수 있나요?
구독은 한 아이의 개인적인 사용을 위해 제공됩니다. 여러 아이나 무관한 이용자 간 공유하거나, 학교·학원 등 상업적·기관적 목적으로 사용하려면 별도의 라이선스 계약이 필요합니다.
9. What devices does SoundHop support?
SoundHop is available on supported Android and iOS devices through Google Play and the Apple App Store. For the best learning experience, we recommend using a tablet, although SoundHop also works on smartphones.
어떤 기기에서 사용할 수 있나요?
SoundHop은 Android 및 iOS 기기에서 이용할 수 있습니다. 최적의 경험을 위해 태블릿을 권장하지만 스마트폰에서도 사용 가능합니다.
10. Does SoundHop collect personal information?
No. SoundHop does not require an account and does not collect personal information. Learning progress is stored locally on the device only.
Google Play, the Apple App Store, or your device's operating system may collect certain device and usage information. These data are governed by the applicable platform provider's privacy policy, not ours. Acron Inc. does not receive or process this information.
개인정보를 수집하나요?
아니요. SoundHop은 계정이 필요하지 않으며 개인정보를 수집하지 않습니다. 학습 진도는 기기에만 로컬로 저장됩니다.
다만 Google Play, Apple App Store 또는 기기의 운영체제는 일부 기기 및 사용 정보를 수집할 수 있습니다. 이러한 정보는 해당 플랫폼 제공업체의 개인정보처리방침에 따라 처리되며, Acron Inc.는 이러한 정보를 수집하거나 처리하지 않습니다.
11. What if I change devices or reinstall the app?
Learning progress is stored locally on your device. If the app is deleted, the device is reset, or the app is reinstalled, progress may be permanently lost. We recommend noting your child's current level before making any device changes.
기기를 바꾸거나 앱을 재설치하면 어떻게 되나요?
학습 진도는 기기에 로컬로 저장됩니다. 앱을 삭제하거나 기기를 초기화하거나 앱을 재설치하면 진도가 영구적으로 소실될 수 있습니다. 기기를 변경하기 전에 현재 레벨을 기록해 두시기 바랍니다.
12. Can teachers use SoundHop in the classroom?
Yes. SoundHop works well in both home and classroom settings. Its simple, no-reading interface means children can use it with minimal instruction. Teachers can use it as a warm-up activity, a listening center, or independent practice tool. Note that each child requires their own individual subscription — for classroom-wide or institutional use, please contact us at support@getsoundhop.com to discuss a license agreement.

SoundHop은 한 가지에만 집중해요. 모든 레벨, 모든 세트, 모든 라운드가 하나의 목표를 위해 설계됐습니다 — 아이가 글자를 읽기 전에 영어 소리를 진짜로 듣는 법을 배우는 것. 일반적인 커리큘럼이 아니라 체계적이고 전문적인 프로그램입니다.

14. Do I need to speak English to help my child?
No.
SoundHop is designed so children can play and learn independently.
Parents don't need to speak English fluently or have native-like pronunciation. Simply encouraging your child to play regularly is enough.
부모가 영어를 잘해야 하나요?
아니요.
SoundHop은 아이가 스스로 게임을 하며 배울 수 있도록 설계되었습니다.
부모님이 영어를 유창하게 하거나 원어민처럼 발음할 필요는 없습니다. 아이가 꾸준히 즐겁게 학습할 수 있도록 격려해 주시는 것만으로도 충분합니다.
15. Can my child use SoundHop offline?
Yes.
Most learning activities work without an internet connection after the app has been installed.
However, an internet connection may be required for downloading the app, managing subscriptions, and future updates.
인터넷 없이도 사용할 수 있나요?
네.
앱을 설치한 후에는 대부분의 학습 활동을 인터넷 연결 없이 이용할 수 있습니다.
다만 앱 다운로드, 구독 관리 및 향후 업데이트에는 인터넷 연결이 필요할 수 있습니다.
16. I live outside Korea — which laws apply to me?
Our policies are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, where Acron Inc. is based. However, if you're using SoundHop from another country, you're still entitled to any non-waivable consumer protection or privacy rights under your local laws — our policies don't limit those rights.
한국 외의 지역에 거주 하는데 어떤 법이 적용되나요?
당사의 정책은 Acron Inc.가 위치한 대한민국 법률에 따라 규율됩니다. 다만 한국 외 지역에서 SoundHop을 이용하시는 경우에도, 거주 국가 법률에 따라 포기할 수 없는 소비자보호 또는 개인정보보호 권리는 그대로 보장됩니다 — 당사의 정책이 이러한 권리를 제한하지 않습니다.
17. Will my child's progress be saved?
Yes.
SoundHop automatically saves progress by set.
If your child leaves in the middle of a set, the next session will begin at the start of that same set.
This simple approach keeps progress easy to manage while giving children another opportunity to reinforce the sounds they are learning.
아이의 학습 진행 상황은 저장되나요?
네. SoundHop은 세트(Set) 단위로 학습 진행 상황을 자동 저장합니다.
학습 도중 세트를 끝내기 전에 앱을 종료하면, 다음에 다시 시작할 때는 같은 세트의 처음부터 이어서 학습하게 됩니다.
