SOUNDHOP ("we," "our," or "us"), operated by Acron Inc., respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information of all users, especially children.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect (or do not collect), how it is used, and your rights as a user or parent/guardian.

By downloading or using SOUNDHOP, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the SOUNDHOP mobile application ("the App") available through Google Play and the Apple App Store. 

 

2. Information We Do Not Collect Directly

SOUNDHOP is designed to be used without an account or personal identification. To use the App's core learning features, we do not require or directly collect:

• Name

• Email address

• Phone number

• Home address

• Date of birth

• Profile photos

No account registration is required to use the App.

2-1. Purchases

If you purchase a subscription to SOUNDHOP, your payment is processed entirely through the app store from which you downloaded the App, such as Google Play or the Apple App Store. SOUNDHOP does not require a separate login or account.

Payment information, billing details, and your app store account information are handled directly by the applicable platform provider. Acron Inc. does not receive, store, or process this information.

For more information, please refer to the privacy policy of the platform through which you downloaded the App.

2-2. Information You Voluntarily Provide

If you contact us directly (for example, by emailing support@getsoundhop.com), we will receive the information you choose to share, such as your name and email address. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is not used for marketing purposes or shared with third parties.

 

3. Platform and Device Information

SOUNDHOP itself does not collect personal information.

However, certain device, diagnostic, or transaction-related information may be collected automatically by the platform through which you downloaded the App...

(such as Google Play or the Apple App Store) or by your device's operating system.

These data collection practices are governed by the applicable platform provider's privacy policy and your device settings, not by Acron Inc.

Acron Inc. does not access, receive, store, or process this information.

3-1. No Tracking

SOUNDHOP does not use advertising identifiers, behavioral advertising, cross-app tracking, or technologies designed to track users across apps or websites.

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

SOUNDHOP does not display third-party advertisements or use third-party advertising SDKs.

Children are not shown behavioral, personalized, or interest-based advertisements while using the App.

3-3. No Analytics

SOUNDHOP does not currently use third-party analytics services or analytics SDKs to collect user behavior or usage data.

4. Local Device Storage

SOUNDHOP stores learning progress locally on the user's device only.

This locally stored data:

• Is used solely to save and restore the child's learning progress within the App

• Is not transmitted to Acron Inc. or any third party

• Is not linked to any personal identity or account

• Remains entirely on the user's device

 

5. No Cloud Storage or Synchronization

SOUNDHOP does not currently provide:

• Cloud backup

• Account creation or login

• Data synchronization across devices

• Online profile storage

All progress data remains on the local device only.

 

6. Data Loss

If the App is deleted, the device is reset, local app data is cleared, or the App is reinstalled, stored learning progress may be permanently lost.

Because all learning progress is stored locally on the user's device, Acron Inc. cannot recover lost progress resulting from device changes, malfunction, deletion, or user actions.

Parents or guardians may wish to periodically monitor and note their child's learning progress.

 

7. Children's Privacy

SOUNDHOP is designed for children aged 4–12 and is intended to be used under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian

We take children's privacy seriously and comply with applicable laws protecting children's data, including the Korean Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where applicable, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We do not display behavioral advertising or track users for marketing purposes.

We do not allow children to share personal information within the App.

SOUNDHOP is designed so that children can use its core learning features without creating an account or providing personal information.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us immediately at support@getsoundhop.com, and we will take prompt action to address the concern.

Parents or guardians are encouraged to supervise their children's use of the App and to contact us if they have any questions regarding privacy, data protection, or their child's use of SOUNDHOP.

8. Parental Rights

As a parent or guardian, you have the right to:

• Request confirmation of whether we hold any personal information about your child

• Request deletion of any personal information we may hold

• Withdraw consent for your child's use of the App at any time by uninstalling the App and clearing local app data

9. Data Security

SOUNDHOP does not collect or transmit personal data.

We are committed to maintaining the security and integrity of the App.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the App against unauthorized access, alteration, or misuse. However, no method of data storage or software is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

 

10. EU/EEA Users (GDPR)

If you are accessing SOUNDHOP from the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA), you may have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Because SOUNDHOP does not collect personal data directly and stores learning progress locally on your device, most GDPR rights are inherently satisfied by our no-account, no-cloud design.

11. Third-Party Services

SOUNDHOP may be distributed through third-party platforms, including Google Play and the Apple App Store.

Your use of these platforms is subject to their respective Terms of Service and Privacy Policies.

Acron Inc. is not responsible for the policies, privacy practices, or services provided by these third-party platforms.

 

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we make changes, we will:

• Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page

• Post the revised policy on our website

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

 

13. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, including the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). If you are using SOUNDHOP from outside the Republic of Korea, you may also be entitled to rights under the data protection laws of your country of residence. Nothing in this Privacy Policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under your local laws.

2-2. 자발적으로 제공하는 정보

당사는 광고 또는 마케팅 목적으로 개인정보를 판매, 임대하거나 제3자와 공유하지 않습니다.

3-2 광고 없음

SOUNDHOP은 제3자 광고를 표시하지 않으며, 제3자 광고 SDK를 사용하지 않습니다.

3-3. 분석 서비스 사용 없음

현재 SOUNDHOP은 이용자의 행동 또는 사용 데이터를 수집하기 위한 제3자 분석 서비스나 분석 SDK를 사용하지 않습니다.

4. 로컬 기기 저장

SOUNDHOP은 학습 진도를 사용자의 기기에만 로컬로 저장합니다.

이 로컬 저장 데이터는:

• 앱 내 아동의 학습 진도를 저장하고 복원하는 목적으로만 사용됩니다

• Acron Inc. 또는 제3자에게 전송되지 않습니다

• 어떠한 개인 신원이나 계정과도 연결되지 않습니다

• 사용자의 기기에만 보관됩니다

 

5. 클라우드 저장 및 동기화 없음

SOUNDHOP은 현재 다음 기능을 제공하지 않습니다:

• 클라우드 백업

• 계정 생성 또는 로그인

• 기기 간 데이터 동기화

• 온라인 프로필 저장

모든 진도 데이터는 로컬 기기에만 저장됩니다.

 

6. 데이터 손실

앱 삭제, 기기 초기화, 로컬 앱 데이터 삭제 또는 앱 재설치 시 저장된 학습 진도가 영구적으로 소실될 수 있습니다.

기기 변경, 오작동, 삭제 또는 사용자 행동으로 인한 진도 손실에 대해 Acron Inc.는 책임을 지지 않습니다. 부모 또는 보호자가 자녀의 학습 진도를 정기적으로 확인하고 기록해 두시길 권장합니다.

 

7. 아동 개인정보 보호

SOUNDHOP은 만 4세부터 12세까지의 아동을 대상으로 설계되었으며, 부모 또는 법정 보호자의 지도와 감독 아래 사용하도록 권장됩니다.

당사는 아동의 개인정보 보호를 최우선으로 생각하며, 「개인정보 보호법(PIPA)」 및 해당되는 경우 미국의 「아동 온라인 개인정보 보호법(COPPA)」 등 아동의 개인정보를 보호하기 위한 관련 법령을 준수합니다.

당사는 아동의 개인정보를 고의로 수집하지 않습니다.

당사는 행동 기반 광고를 제공하거나 마케팅 목적으로 이용자를 추적하지 않습니다.

당사는 앱 내에서 아동이 개인정보를 공유할 수 있는 기능을 제공하지 않습니다.

SOUNDHOP은 아동이 계정을 생성하거나 개인정보를 제공하지 않아도 핵심 학습 기능을 이용할 수 있도록 설계되었습니다.

8. 부모 및 보호자의 권리

부모 또는 법정 보호자로서 다음 권리를 행사하실 수 있습니다:

무단 접근, 변조 또는 오용으로부터 앱을 보호하기 위해 합리적인 기술적·관리적 조치를 시행합니다. 다만, 어떠한 데이터 저장 방식이나 소프트웨어도 완전히 안전하다고 보장할 수 없음을 양지해 주시기 바랍니다.

 

10. EU/EEA 이용자 (GDPR)

유럽연합(EU) 또는 유럽경제지역(EEA)에서 SoundHop을 이용하시는 경우, 일반개인정보보호법(GDPR)에 따라 당사가 보유한 정보에 대한 열람, 정정, 삭제 요청권 및 데이터 이동권 등 추가적인 권리를 가지십니다. SoundHop은 개인정보를 직접 수집하지 않으며 모든 학습 진도를 기기에만 로컬로 저장하므로, 계정 및 클라우드 저장이 없는 설계 자체가 이러한 권리 대부분을 자연스럽게 충족합니다. GDPR 관련 문의는 support@getsoundhop.com으로 연락해 주시기 바랍니다.

Acron Inc.는 이러한 제3자 플랫폼이 제공하는 정책, 개인정보 처리 방식 또는 서비스에 대해 책임을 지지 않습니다.

 

12. 개인정보처리방침 변경

당사는 관행 또는 관련 법령의 변경을 반영하기 위해 본 방침을 수시로 업데이트할 수 있습니다. 변경 시 다음과 같이 안내합니다:
