SOUNDHOP ("we," "our," or "us"), operated by Acron Inc., respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information of all users, especially children.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect (or do not collect), how it is used, and your rights as a user or parent/guardian.

By downloading or using SOUNDHOP, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the SOUNDHOP mobile application ("the App") available on Google Play, and any future SOUNDHOP products or services operated by Acron Inc.

2. Information We Do Not Collect Directly

SOUNDHOP is designed to be used without an account or personal identification. To use the App's core learning features, we do not require or directly collect:

Phone number
Home address
Date of birth
Profile photos

No account registration is required to use the App.

2-1. Purchases

If you subscribe to SoundHop (Prep tier or Full tier), this transaction is processed entirely through Google Play's billing system, using the Google account already signed in on your device. SOUNDHOP does not require a separate login or account.

Payment information, billing details, and your Google account information are handled directly by Google. Acron Inc. does not receive, store, or process this data. For details, please review Google Play's Privacy Policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy

2-2. Information You Voluntarily Provide

If you contact us directly (for example, by emailing contact@soundhop.app), we will receive the information you choose to share, such as your name and email address. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is not used for marketing purposes or shared with third parties.

3. Information That May Be Collected Automatically

While SOUNDHOP itself does not collect personal data, please be aware that:

Google Play Services may collect certain device and usage information automatically as part of operating the Android platform. This includes device identifiers, app installation data, and crash reports.
Device operating systems may collect diagnostic or performance data depending on your device settings.

Acron Inc. does not access, receive, or process any such data directly.

4. Local Device Storage

SOUNDHOP stores learning progress locally on the user's device only.

This locally stored data:

Is used solely to save and restore the child's learning progress within the App
Is not transmitted to Acron Inc. or any third party
Is not linked to any personal identity or account
Remains entirely on the user's device

5. No Cloud Storage or Synchronization

SOUNDHOP does not currently provide:

Cloud backup
Account creation or login
Data synchronization across devices
Online profile storage

All progress data remains on the local device only.

6. Data Loss

If the App is deleted, the device is reset, local app data is cleared, or the App is reinstalled, stored learning progress may be permanently lost.

Acron Inc. is not responsible for any loss of progress resulting from device changes, malfunction, deletion, or user actions. We recommend that parents or guardians regularly monitor and note their child's progress.

7. Children's Privacy

SOUNDHOP is designed for children aged 4–12 and is intended to be used under parental or guardian supervision.

We take children's privacy seriously and comply with applicable laws protecting children's data, including the Korean Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where applicable, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We do not display behavioral advertising or track users for marketing purposes.
We do not allow children to share personal information within the App.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us immediately at contact@soundhop.app and we will take prompt action to address the concern.

8. Parental Rights

As a parent or guardian, you have the right to:

Review any information we may hold about your child
Request deletion of any such information
Withdraw consent for your child's use of the App at any time by uninstalling the App and clearing local app data

9. Data Security

Although SOUNDHOP does not collect or transmit personal data, we are committed to maintaining the security and integrity of the App.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the App against unauthorized access, alteration, or misuse. However, no method of data storage or software is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. EU/EEA Users (GDPR)

If you are accessing SoundHop from the European Union or European Economic Area, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, rectify, or erase any data we may hold, and the right to data portability. As SoundHop does not collect personal data directly and stores all learning progress locally on your device, most of these rights are inherently satisfied by our no-account, no-cloud design. 11. Third-Party Services

SOUNDHOP is distributed through Google Play. Your use of Google Play and any services provided by Google are subject to Google's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Acron Inc. is not responsible for the data practices of Google or any other third-party platform or service.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we make changes, we will:

Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
Post the revised policy on our website

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

13. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, including the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). If you are using SOUNDHOP from outside the Republic of Korea, you may also be entitled to rights under the data protection laws of your country of residence. Nothing in this Privacy Policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under your local laws.

SOUNDHOP을 구독하시는 경우(Prep 등급 또는 Full 등급), 해당 거래는 기기에 이미 로그인된 Google 계정을 통해 Google Play 결제 시스템에서 전적으로 처리됩니다. SOUNDHOP은 별도의 로그인이나 계정을 요구하지 않습니다.

2-2. 자발적으로 제공하는 정보

이용자가 당사에 직접 연락하시는 경우(예: contact@soundhop.app으로 이메일 문의), 이용자가 제공하기로 선택한 정보(이름, 이메일 주소 등)를 당사가 수신하게 됩니다. 이 정보는 문의에 답변하는 목적으로만 사용되며, 마케팅 목적으로 사용되거나 제3자와 공유되지 않습니다.

3. 자동으로 수집될 수 있는 정보

4. 로컬 기기 저장

5. 클라우드 저장 및 동기화 없음

SOUNDHOP은 현재 다음 기능을 제공하지 않습니다:

클라우드 백업
계정 생성 또는 로그인
기기 간 데이터 동기화
온라인 프로필 저장

모든 진도 데이터는 로컬 기기에만 저장됩니다.

6. 데이터 손실

앱 삭제, 기기 초기화, 로컬 앱 데이터 삭제 또는 앱 재설치 시 저장된 학습 진도가 영구적으로 소실될 수 있습니다.

기기 변경, 오작동, 삭제 또는 사용자 행동으로 인한 진도 손실에 대해 Acron Inc.는 책임을 지지 않습니다. 부모 또는 보호자가 자녀의 학습 진도를 정기적으로 확인하고 기록해 두시길 권장합니다.

7. 아동 개인정보 보호

SOUNDHOP은 만 4~12세 아동을 대상으로 설계되었으며, 부모 또는 법정 보호자의 지도 아래 사용하도록 권장됩니다.

당사는 아동 개인정보 보호를 최우선으로 여기며, 「개인정보 보호법」(PIPA) 및 해당되는 경우 미국의 아동 온라인 개인정보 보호법(COPPA) 등 관련 법령을 준수합니다.

당사는 아동의 개인정보를 고의로 수집하지 않습니다.
행동 기반 광고를 표시하거나 마케팅 목적으로 이용자를 추적하지 않습니다.

무단 접근, 변조 또는 오용으로부터 앱을 보호하기 위해 합리적인 기술적·관리적 조치를 시행합니다. 다만, 어떠한 데이터 저장 방식이나 소프트웨어도 완전히 안전하다고 보장할 수 없음을 양지해 주시기 바랍니다.

10. EU/EEA 이용자 (GDPR)

유럽연합(EU) 또는 유럽경제지역(EEA)에서 SoundHop을 이용하시는 경우, 일반개인정보보호법(GDPR)에 따라 당사가 보유한 정보에 대한 열람, 정정, 삭제 요청권 및 데이터 이동권 등 추가적인 권리를 가지십니다. SoundHop은 개인정보를 직접 수집하지 않으며 모든 학습 진도를 기기에만 로컬로 저장하므로, 계정 및 클라우드 저장이 없는 설계 자체가 이러한 권리 대부분을 자연스럽게 충족합니다. GDPR 관련 문의는 contact@soundhop.app으로 연락해 주시기 바랍니다.

11. 제3자 서비스

Acron Inc.는 Google 또는 기타 제3자 플랫폼·서비스의 데이터 처리 방식에 대해 책임을 지지 않습니다.

12. 개인정보처리방침 변경

당사는 관행 또는 관련 법령의 변경을 반영하기 위해 본 방침을 수시로 업데이트할 수 있습니다. 변경 시 다음과 같이 안내합니다:
